Denmark’s NIP Group: Collaboration Through Familiar Networks

Back to list

Denmark’s National Innovation Practice (NIP) group has begun its journey with an online pre-meeting on 20 November, setting the stage for the first in-person/hybrid meeting scheduled for 13 December

Participants:

The online session brought together 8 participants, with more expected to join the upcoming in-person meeting.

What’s unique about the group?

A key strength of the Danish NIP group is that most participants already know each other and their farms through earlier network groups. This familiarity allows them to jump straight into meaningful discussions, as they already understand each other’s gaps and challenges.

Challenges:

Balancing the diverse needs of small versus larger farms and accommodating participants’ busy schedules are notable challenges in managing the group.

Despite these hurdles, the group’s shared experience and collaborative spirit make it well-equipped to address Denmark’s unique context within the TransformDairyNet project.
