The TransformDairyNet (TDN) project was launched in 2024 and two key consortium meetings happened. It reinforced partners’ commitment to innovation in sustainable dairy farming. These meetings provided essential platforms for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strategic planning among the project’s diverse partners.
Kick-Off Meeting – Laying the Foundation
On June 3rd, 2024, TDN officially launched with a kick-off online meeting, bringing together 26 partners from 14 countries in an online session. This first gathering set the stage for the project’s ambitious goals, including advancing Cow-Calf Contact (CCC) systems, enhancing animal welfare, and tackling sustainability challenges in dairy farming. Participants introduced their teams, aligned on the project’s vision, and mapped out initial steps toward transformative impact.
Second Consortium Meeting – Progress and Planning
On December 9th, 2024, the second online consortium meeting provided an opportunity to review progress and refine strategies for the next phases of the project. Partners shared updates from their respective work packages, discussed outreach initiatives, and coordinated efforts for upcoming events. The meeting highlighted the importance of continued collaboration in driving TDN’s mission forward.
