National Network Facilitators (NNFs)
TransformDairyNet’s National Network Facilitators (NNFs) play a pivotal role in connecting and mobilising key actors within each partner country to support the adoption and advancement of Cow-Calf Contact (CCC) systems. Leveraging their extensive farmer networks and facilitation expertise, NNFs lead National Innovation Practice Hubs (NIPs) to:
- Recruit CCC dairy farmers, farmer organisations, veterinarians, academics, processors, retailers, and other relevant actors based on the stage of CCC practice.
- Foster a collaborative environment where actors can share knowledge, identify challenges, and co-create innovative solutions.
- Facilitate knowledge exchange within and between NIPs, the European Knowledge and Innovation Network (EKIN), and other relevant stakeholders.
NNFs are trained through peer-to-peer learning workshops to develop a harmonised methodology for facilitation, ensuring effective operation of NIPs and Living Labs. They use tools such as a facilitation toolkit and periodic online meetings to support continuous learning, reflection, and innovation.
Additionally, NNFs work closely with TransformDairyNet's Work Packages (WPs) to:
- Compile and share CCC knowledge ready for practice.
- Develop Living Lab proposals and drive innovation processes.
- Act as communication champions to promote TransformDairyNet outcomes nationally and across borders, ensuring impactful dissemination and exploitation of results.
Through their efforts, NNFs are instrumental in creating a vibrant community of practice that accelerates the transformation of the dairy sector towards greater sustainability and resilience.
