2024: France’s NIP Group, Laying the Foundations for Collaboration
The French National Innovation Practice (NIP) group is currently in the formation phase, with the first meeting expected in February.
Network Development:
Efforts to establish the group are being led by Caroline Constancis from FiBL France, who has extensive experience in Cow-Calf Contact (CCC) systems and strong connections with farmers across various regions of France. Caroline has been actively reaching out to farmers to encourage participation and bring together a diverse group.
Cross-Border Collaboration:
Through FiBL’s international network, one Swiss farmer has already joined the group, adding a valuable perspective to the discussions.
Plans Ahead:
Collaboration with Caroline will be formalized to structure the NIP meetings, which will include thematic presentations and discussions aimed at fostering knowledge sharing and practical solutions.
France’s NIP group is poised to contribute significantly to the TransformDairyNet project by leveraging expertise and expanding its network.
