2024: Italy’s Buffalo NIP Group, Introducing the TDN Project to Buffalo Farmers

Italy’s National Innovation Practice (NIP) group for cattle held its first meeting on 6 November 2024, with 12 participants attending. 

Highlights: 

The group demonstrated excellent cooperation, with all members showing strong interest in the project. They were united in identifying critical issues related to Cow-Calf Contact (CCC) systems, providing valuable insights and a shared understanding of the challenges ahead. 

Challenges: 

A key challenge for the group was developing solutions and innovative ideas to address the issues identified. Despite this, the group’s collaborative spirit lays a solid foundation for tackling these challenges in future meetings. 

With a keen interest in CCC, Italy’s NIP group is poised to contribute meaningfully to the TransformDairyNet project.
