2024: Romania’s NIP Group, Enthusiastic Start for TDN Collaboration 

Romania’s National Innovation Practice (NIP) group successfully held its first meeting with 12 participants, including 4 farmers, 2 vets, 2 consultants, and 4 researchers

Highlights: 

The group displayed strong enthusiasm and energy, with members showing genuine interest in the TDN project and the NIP’s objectives. Their active engagement promises a dynamic and collaborative environment for the project’s development. 

Challenges: 

One of the key challenges was managing the busy schedules of the group members, which led to the need to reschedule the meeting. Although reminders were sent, two farmers were unable to attend. 

Despite this, the group’s commitment and energy set a positive tone for future discussions and contributions to the TransformDairyNet project. 

2025: EKIN Update

  • Held well-attended meetings with a multidisciplinary team
  • Some hesitation to launch a Living Lab, but strong engagement overall

Achievements:

  • 2 meetings
  • 13-member mixed group of farmers, vets, and researchers

Concerns:

  • Farmer hesitation to officially launch LL
